Green hydrogen production plant and refuelling station
As part of an integrated contract in collaboration with Strabag (responsible for civil engineering works and machinery procurement), IIT Hydrogen has undertaken the complex detailed design of SASA’s new renewable hydrogen production and distribution plant in Bolzano. The infrastructure, for which IIT Hydrogen oversaw the entire plant design, has been designed to fill trailers to a pressure of up to 500 bar, intended to supply SASA’s zero-emission bus refuelling stations at its sites in Bolzano and Merano. As a testament to the trust placed in the expertise demonstrated during the design phase, IIT Hydrogen has also been entrusted with the delicate task of managing the first four months of commissioning and providing full-service maintenance for the following two years.
