A concrete step towards hydrogen mobility

12/05/2026

Collaboration between European projects, companies and infrastructure continues to drive tangible growth in hydrogen mobility across Europe.

In recent days, we had the pleasure of hosting a prototype hydrogen-powered truck from Scania at our refuelling station, operated by Gruber Logistics as part of the European ZEFES project.

For us at IIT Hydrogen, it was a source of great pride to contribute, through our infrastructure and expertise, to supporting a concrete initiative in zero-emission heavy-duty transport.

The evolution of hydrogen also depends on moments like this: real-world testing, collaboration between companies, sharing of know-how and the creation of an ecosystem capable of supporting innovation.

Although we are not part of the ZEFES project, we strongly believe that the sector’s growth requires cooperation between all stakeholders – manufacturers, logistics operators, technology developers and infrastructure managers. Making our station and our expertise available means actively participating in the development of increasingly sustainable and efficient mobility.

Hydrogen is no longer just a future prospect: it is a technology that is already finding practical application on our roads. And we are delighted to be able to contribute to this journey of evolution.
