The series of seminars organised at the Faculty of Engineering of unibz, in collaboration with IIT Hydrogen, and included in the Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering, has come to an enthusiastic conclusion.
Three meetings were held between December 2025 and January 2026 to explore hydrogen as a sustainable energy carrier, covering technologies, industrial applications, project management, regulatory framework and fire safety.
Students were able to engage with engineers from IIT Hydrogen, exploring real-life cases, future scenarios and practical aspects of the technology. The interaction was intense and many participants have already expressed interest in internships and theses in the field of hydrogen.
The experience confirmed the importance of building bridges between the scientific approach and the business world, which are often separate, offering both a new perspective: students bring curiosity and innovative ideas, while the professional world shares practical experience and real-life scenarios. For IIT Hydrogen, this exchange also represents an opportunity to engage with new visions and emerging technologies before they reach the market, fuelling research and development.
